"Dreams don't have deadlines." - LL Cool J
I once heard that it's never too late to chase your dreams. Well, that is exactly what I am doing. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid I used to save up my money to buy records. During my teenage years I was heavily influenced by soul, hip-hop, jazz and many other types of music. By my college years I realized I wanted to become a producer. I was inspired by many of the greats like, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Dr. Dre to name a few. I used to buy and study all kinds of old albums before I even purchased my first piece of studio equipment. Once I graduated from college, I had enough money to buy my first keyboard sampler and from then on there was no stopping me. But it's funny though, when you're chasing your dream, real life gets in the way. And when you have bills to pay, that dream you're chasing seems to get further away from you. That's exactly what happened to me. Although I never stopped making music, it ultimately became more of a hobby. Quite a few years have passed, but that passion I've always had for music never went away. It actually became stronger. So here I am continuing to chase that dream of getting my music out to the world. I realize my life would not be fulfilled if I didn't take this chance...so I'm taking it now. Thanks to technology and inspiration from everywhere, I will do it on my own terms.  Here goes something! I hope you enjoy.
